The mobile phone usage is increasing everyday. The mobile companies are offering different type of mobiles to meet the customer need. The people are using mobiles not only for the communication, but also they are using for many services. Each and every mobile can not have all features, different type of mobile phones have different features.
Basically there are few different types of mobile phones
Basic phone
Mobile phones are most commonly referred as “cell phones” and “ mobiles ” in other places. These are the cell phones that come with basic features and are available at low price. The basic features are calling, text messaging and some audio features like radio, recorder.
Smart phones
Smart phones offers many features in single mobile phone like internet access, entertainment, multimedia applications and data transfer between the mobile and PC.
Pocket PC Devices or PDA phones
These are very popular with the business people. These phones offers similar features to personal computer. These are having similar features to smart phones with necessary touch screen facility.
SIM free mobiles or GSM phones
These phones allow the user to use network as per their choice. It gives freedom to use any network. The GSM stands for Global system for mobile communication. Using GSM mobile phones, the user can switch any network with his choice. Means there is no contract with the service provider.
CDMA mobile phones
CDMA stands for “Code Division Multiple Access”. It is a “ spread spectrum technology” that means, it spreads electromagnetic signals over a much greater bandwidth than the original signal. It uses the ESN( electromagnetic serial number) rather than the SIM.
