Therefore, special attention and care should be taken to give the child necessary vitamins that comes from a balanced and healthy diet.

This article is about the importance of vitamins and how to overcome the deficiency of vitamins in children.

Vitamins that promote child’s growth
Vitamins A, D, B, C are useful in promoting the overall growth of children. Vitamin A promotes good vision, and helps fight diseases. Vitamin D helps in formation of bones by absorbing calcium into the body and depositing in the bones.

Vitamin B complex will help in maintaining digestive system, brain and nerves properly. Vitamin C is very important in producing red blood cells and formation of tissues in the body.

Deficiency of the above vitamins will affect the overall development of the child. Children having low levels of vitamin A will have poor eyesight, cannot see properly during night and severity may lead to blindness.

Vitamin D deficiency is seen more in children who do not have the ability to adsorb this vitamin. It leads to a condition called “rickettsia”, which means improper formation of leg bones (deformation). It also leads to muscle weakness and poor growth of muscles. Vitamin C deficiency symptoms are oozing of blood from gums, improper teeth formation and a condition called “scurvy”.

Vitamin B complex is very important for the development of immune system. Deficiency of vitamin B complex results in poor fighting ability against diseases, they are more susceptible to diseases and the recovery is slow.

Kids develop some symptoms when they have any deficiency of vitamins such as irritation and poor growth of leg bones in case of low vitamin D, feeling tired after doing less activity, hair loss, dry eyes in case of low vitamin A. If your child's skin is dry, not feeling hungry, having regular infections, unable to sleep properly and feeling a sense of vomiting, indicate signs of low vitamin B and C.

What are the Uses of Anthranilic Acid?

Vitamins play a vital role in the human body as it helps in the proper functioning of all the vital organs of the body. It also helps in the proper functioning of the blood cells and also maintaining the hormonal balance in the body.

Anthranilic acid or vitamin L helps in the bio synthesis of tryptophan. It is the most required vitamin for lactation in females. An alternate of this vitamin is Adenyl-thiomethylpentose. An aromatic amine it occurs as a metabolite of amino acid tryptophan and its usefulness is found as it is used in dye synthesis.

Anthranilic acid is an organic compound with the molecular formula C7H7NO2. In appearance, Anthranilic acid is an amino acid with a white solid when pure, although commercial samples may appear yellow. It is sensitive whenever it is exposed to air and light and has a properties like flammable and will produce nitrogen oxide fumes when burning. It is sometimes referred to as vitamin L1, and has a sweetish taste.

Anthranilic acid is used as an intermediate for production of dyes, pigments, and saccharin. It's esters are used in preparing perfumes to imitate jasmine and orange, pharmaceuticals (loop diuretics e.g. furosemide) and UV-absorber as well as corrosion inhibitors for metals and mold inhibitors in soya sauce. It is also used to generate benzene intermediate as an organic synthesizer. It is also used as sedative drugs and like Quaalude and Mandrax.

Vitamin L or Anthranilic Acid goes by the name of Or-tho-amino benzoic acid and the most required vitamin in the lactation process in human beings. Though it has not been officially a recognized vitamin it has been isolated and has shown its relation to adenosine. This acid is also referred to as LT and is much more complex substance and sometimes included with other vitamins like vitamin B complex etc.
