Comparison Of Online And Bricks And Mortar Shopping

Online shopping, brick and mortar shopping are two kinds of shopping structure in current world. First one is the internet based shopping and another is the physical based shopping. Through online shopping a buyer can buy any product sitting at home; but in brick and mortar shopping he has to go to the retailer shop to buy the product. Online shopping is an emerging trend of shopping. Apart from the above – the following are few more differences between online and brick mortar shopping:
  • Online shopping reduces headache of waiting in lines, dealing with crowds and other general nuisance of shopping in a store.
  • Online shopping allows sending the gift to those people who live out of town. A buyer has to just mail the destiny and gift will be shipped within time. But in retailing shopping, buyer has to first buy the product and then send the gift through mail. This also demands extra money for transportation.
  • Shopping through online could be a bargain shoppers dream. Sometimes the buyer has to open countless pages to find or research on anything he might want and it can lead to many hours spending on computer. These types of problem can lead to a stiff neck and in few cases he might still not be able to find what he is looking for. But in retail shopping buyer can feel the products and grab his desired product in no time.
These are the major difference between online shopping and retailing shopping. A buyer can make a wise selection of product only after proper planning and research of the product. These two are the key factors of any structure of shopping.
