Jobs of Intelligence Heads under Threat

It seems that the new government wants to replace the heads of intelligence agencies. Because democrats don’t like the policies and workforce of these two top officials of Intelligence.

Mike McConnell is serving the Bush government since February 20th of 2007 as Director of the National Intelligence as the successor of John Negroponte and been responsible under the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act which has been implemented in the year 2004.

Michael V Haden is serving as the Director of CIA since May 30th of 2006 after resignation of Porter J Goss. He was serving the military when he was appointed as Chief of CIA. Though he retired in July 1st of 2008 as General of Air Force he is continuing with CIA.

Though Obama’s representatives have declined any decisions against Intelligence appointments, there are much likely to replace them.

Intelligence faced much criticism over the failure to stop 9/11 attacks and their controversial reforms under Bush government.
