The following are the short term effects of usage of amphetamines

Low dose:
The lower dosage of the amphetamines will effects physically includes, increase stamina, energy, alertness, heart rate, blood pressure, concentration, pupil size, breathing, appetite suppression and loss of interest in sleeping.

Psychological effects includes, it will increase self confidence, visual awareness, feeling good, restlessness, talkativeness, excitability, hyperactivity, irritability, it enhances self awareness etc.

High Dose:
The physical effects of high dosage of amphetamines includes, high blood pressure, irregular heart beat, loss of coordination, sweating, fever, dry mouth, flushing, headache, blood vision, dizziness, vomiting, collapse, repetitive moments, tremor, stomach cramps and even death.

The psychological effect on high dosage of amphetamines includes, aggressive and hostility, agitation and anxiety, suspicion and paranoia, psychosis, unpredictable behavior, mood swings and distorted body image.

The long term psychological and physical effects of the amphetamines, for the people who use on regular basis for the long period of time includes, malnutrition from the loss of appetite, psychosis, less resistance to infections, even permanent damage of the brain cells.
