If you need bookshelves in your home then you can build your bookshelves without hiring a carpenter. These book shelves are useful to keep your books in a manner. There are some instructions to build the built-in bookshelves in your home.
  • First you decide the location of your bookshelves in your room. After deciding this you can
  • decide the size of the bookshelves. Measure the top and bottom of the space.
  • You can measure the vertical supports, these supports were built within the bookshelves case. You should do this every 24 to 30 inches and if you do more than this then it will cause shelves to sag and possibly break.
  • After this you can design a box to use as bookshelves to build. You can use this box itself for bookshelves. After designing the case and size of case, then you can purchase the building supplies.
  • Next you buy all the materials which will need to build shelves in your home. You purchase all the materials at a local building supply store.
  • You should be careful and you should use your skills to cut the wood in direct measurement of the bookshelf design and cut should be correct for the vertical supports and the shelves.
  • You can attach the plywood on the back side of the case and you can keep the case in the designated spot where you want. You can use the wire brads to stabilize your case in the correct position. You can drill holes to fit the pins to set the bookshelf.
  • Before putting the shelves, you can place your supports in the case.
  • Then insert the shelves and after finishing installation of the shelves you can paint it as per your wish.
