Beginners of physical fitness training must take many precautions before doing workouts in order to prevent injuries. Three common fitness training mistakes are:
Overtraining: Overtraining is the most commonly observed mistake in fitness training and in mostly beginners. It causes heavy reaction to those who proceeds to work the body outside the limits of manageable repair. Overtraining is caused due to body's inability to recover the physical stress associated with fitness and exercise and some times result in muscle tear, intensely weakened immune system, and chronic fatigue. The excellent goal to get into a good shape will not be achieved if training is done every day in a week for hours at a time. Rest should be taken to make the body to naturally recover and strengthen the muscles for future session.
Elimination of carbohydrates: Many publicly marketed diets which emphasize the disaster related to carbohydrate consumption, presumes that weight loss can be only attained by complete absence of carbohydrates in a given diet. This is possibly the most common misconception observed in diet trend followers today, and moreover a dangerous and unhealthy method to follow.
The truth is, sugars, corn syrup, bleached flour, and other elementary carbohydrates are all supplements and ingredients which must be avoided, as they will stimulate negative effects within the body. Complex carbohydrates found in whole grains, wheat, oats, and more are very essential to the body, and helps in weight loss by retaining and increasing the metabolism even in physically inactive state.
Too much cardio: Cardio workout practices are outstanding, and very important for the improvement of a healthy lifestyle. But too much cardio creates undesirable problems in fitness and health. Over-doing of cardio exercises makes the body to begin extracting energy from its muscle storages, instead of utilizing its fat and carbohydrates storages for energy and nourishment. This makes the body to exhaust drastically, and also reduces the strength of immune system and mental process to a very low level. Cardio routines should not be done more than 45 minutes in the beginning in order to have a healthy life.
