Recruiting new staff is a difficult task. For hiring the right candidate, recruiter should follow some of these Tips.
- Be clear about the job description. Question yourself - What are the responsibilities of this role, and what kind of person needs to be recruited for that specific position etc.
- After framing the job description, it is important to search the kind of person based on his soft skills and personal attributes that perfectly match to the position.
- Be aware of employment legislation. Don’t hire a candidate based on religious belief, gender, and disability. While hiring, consider the person’s talent, abilities and merit into consideration.
- Smaller the company, the bigger the impact of making wrong recruitment decision. Think not just about whether the candidate can do the job, but also in terms of how the candidate will contribute to the team.
- Friend and employees are good source for the candidate. But don’t feel under any obligation, and make right hire based on candidate talent and abilities.
