Backyard toxic plants can harm pets

Many plants in and around houses grow by themselves. Most of the people don’t care about these plants as they are concerned about harming the greenery around them. Showing much compassionate on these weird plants can simply affect the health of your pets.

Pets don’t have much sense to identify between eatables and non-eatables. You cannot teach them even. And there are a big set of toxic plants in your backyard. You cannot monitor your pet from going towards those plants all the time. I am sure they are going to eat them sometime and fall sick.

My neighbor’s bulldog recently fell sick the same way and he had to pay a pretty big vet bill. Spending so much on your pet during recession - isn’t feasible for many.

I found a list of ten such toxic plants that grow in backyards of people, from MSNBC. Those include lilies, sago palm, autumn crocus, rhododendron, oleander, tulips, castor bean, yew, mushrooms.

And the tenth one is marijuana! I know it is toxic, but I didn’t know it grows in backyards.
