Flooring Your Kitchen? Follow the New Trends

Kitchen Countertops
The older trends of constructing a house have left with the past year. The New Year here brings new trends and new ideas with new looks. And guess what? The new trends are also eco-friendly as well as cost effective.

Kitchens are no longer seen as gloomy and smeary places in the house. The new generation kitchens come with all the advanced features that make it look no inferior than a living room. In addition, with these new strategies of building kitchens, the flooring remains the major thing to be considered here.

Say good-bye to the classic kitchens, which used to be made of bamboo, cork or rubber. Welcome the eco friendly flooring which http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifalso helps you save your money amid crisis.

While many of them are turning back to hard wood flooring there are some who are using recycled linoleum flooring, and other types of flooring like stone, granite, rustic woods, etc.

Decreasing House Prices Increase Home Sales

This year will be great for real estate industry as it sees rise in home sales, with recession. The bad thing here for the industry is that it may not get good profits compared to the profits of boom times, just two years ago. Because, the main reason behind the increase in house sales is the decrease in prices.

Las Vegas is one of those cities where home sales have gone up with the decrease in home sale prices since one year. It is estimated that people can buy a home here for 28 percent lower price, compared to that of the price before one year. And this helped to increase the home sales by 15 percent.

I didn’t know why people are desperate about buying homes during these times. Unemployment rate in US is now 7.2 percent a higher number I have ever seen.

And people are not afraid of it!

This Is What I Call As ‘Entertaining News’

News Media has become more extensive in spreading news. This has become a big successful business rather than just a means to communicate news.

There are many big names struggling 25 hours a day to cover all the latest news and increase their profits or be in the top position.

And in all this process, some of them post News that really stinks. But they are OK (for those brands) because they make good profits. And we do have little entertainment from such news. They serve as a good source. We can laugh, we can gossip, we can chat and that is what I call a real entertainer.

An old woman will be struggling to get her cat come down a tree. We have some people come down from nowhere and shooting the process. They will not try to get that cat down the tree but will keep on shooting at the poor old woman wailing all the time and asking for help.

And that’s what I call a piece of Entertaining News, good for nothing, but make up News.

FBI Is Hiring: Record Level Openings Are Announced

While companies are on a lay off spree, FBI is rowing in opposite direction for the new President’s reign.

FBI has announced record level openings in their agency. People who are suffering from a lay-off have a chance to revitalize their career as a G-Man. But I think FBI has not announced any special reservations for lay-off people.

You can still try as there are as many as 850 special agent posts and 2100 support staff posts. What is exciting is that this time people can choose from different fields like Accounting, Finance, Nursing and Counseling, electrical engineering, auto mechanics and even physical and social sciences.

Though FBI recruits throughout the year, the number of job openings is very big compared to its job opening bulletins since 100 years.

But they gave a very short expiry date for the openings, i.e. 16th January.

So hurry to avail the offer before it expires.

Why Avoid 'Too Much' Of Anything and Everything?

The word “too much” in life is never appreciable, whether it is the case of a good thing or a bad one. Not on one topic, consider anything and you will find too much is hazardous. “Too much” has the power to turn a good thing to bad one.
  • Too much food gets you obesity and many more diseases associated with it.
  • Too much sleep makes you lazy and weakens your sleep system.
  • Too much liking gets you addicted to it and is never recommended.
  • Too much TV or video games dumps your life from many great things out there.
  • Too much Coffee gets much caffeine induced into your system and pose health problems.
  • Too much talking gives a person a loose-tongue image.
  • Too much silence gives a person a timid-fellow image.
  • Too much freedom leads to less control in life.
  • Too much control leads to freedom less life and therefore a revolution.
The list above is just a sample of things which would be great if existed in a limit. There is nothing on earth which will be great if existed or done too much. If there is any such thing please let me know.

Blogs is the new fashion of online population. They feel it a prestige issue to have a blog on their own and run it themselves. The main factor that made it pick up so fast is that it is free! As free as the cost of any email. This led to the evolution of a community in the world called bloggers. There are many kinds of bloggers. But I see most of them post silly things like “My dog wagged his tail today”.

Oh My! Thanks to all you guys for not banning such blogs.

But there are some really good blogs which are worth reading. And worthy blogs do really influence people in taking decisions. A recent study says that blogs influence people in making purchase decisions. Stats of that study go this way

If you have relied on some blog to purchase a video game recently, then even you fall under this category.
