Database software: Database is a collection and storage of data. The data can be manipulated and retrieved from vast storage of data by performing database operations with the help of database software. MS Access, dBase, Fox base, Paradox, Oracle are database software.
Spread sheet Software: The usage of this software is to enable the users to perform calculations such as budget, financial statements, sales record and grade sheet. Presentation graphic software: This enables the user to create and present the information in the form of slide shows. It gives visual presentation. MS Power point is an example of presentation software.
Multimedia software: It enables users to create images, play audio and video files. Some forms of multimedia software include audio converters, players, burners, video encoders and decoders. Real player, VLC media player are examples of multimedia software.
Content Access Software: It enables users to create data without editing. Web browsers and media player are content access software.
Accounting software: This is helpful in performing tasks related to accounting transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and trial balance.
