The increasing DUI and DWI cases are increasing at an alarming rate year after year. We have so tougher laws, and still we see offenses been taking place.
Whose fault it is? Government is struggling a lot to create awareness among people on not to drive when under influence. And there are many non-profitable organizations working voluntarily to stop people from drink and drive.
But still there are accidents taking place and in more bigger numbers. Such people don’t have proper social behavior. And it is for these people that there are laws. The reason behind what we see that laws aren’t working is that those people are not much scared of laws.
This is where laws have to focus on now. Approaching the problem with more tougher strategies is the only way left now to stop people from doing this. Now it is high time to treat the problem as a severe crime equivalent to murder; and this is how you can deal with the problem.
